Oh my goodness was this the sweetest little baby!! Lyvia was born three weeks early and when she came to me at a little under 2 weeks old she was only up to around 6lbs! So tiny!! Mom looked like she never even had a baby and both parents were just glowing with joy! Lyvia did so great for the first half of the shoot sleeping just like I wanted her to, then when she started waking up she decided it was time to go to the bathroom…. all over mommy! Who could be mad though? Just look at that face!!

I just finished looking through your picture archives and I’m just amazed. I love the bold colors and textures you have on some of the pictures, and the simplicity of color on others. I don’t know how to shoot people well yet, I’m just diving into photography with mostly outdoor stuff right now. I want to learn techniques, do you have any suggestions of websites for help for getting some of your great effects?
