Mike and Dana are some of our dearest friends in this world. My husband and I had the honor of being in their wedding this past weekend. Tyler being the best man and I being a bridesmaid, it truly meant the world to us. Dana and Mike were a match made in heaven. I met Mike in 2005 as Tyler and him became kindred spirits within the first 6 months of knowing each other. I remember Mike telling me all about this Dana girl who he had liked all through high school. Every time I would talk to him about another girl in our church that I thought was cute or a good match the conversation somehow always led back to this Dana girl I had never met.
The following Christmas break the mysterious Dana came back to visit from College. I remember meeting her for the first time and hanging out with her at Applebees after a church service and thinking “no wonder Mike can’t get over her! This girl is drop dead gorgeous and as sweet as honey!” The following summer break is when Dana and I started doing lots of coffee dates. Our friendship developed quite fast, much like Tyler and Mikes. Every time we would talk about boys somehow it would always lead back to Mike. I knew that they would end of together, it was only a matter of the perfect timing. Well, a year and half ago the timing was perfect and everything just fell into place!
Here are some pics of their rehearsal and wedding. I didn’t get too many of the wedding as I was busy being a bridesmaid (and dancing my legs off at the reception) but I am glad I got to capture a couple memories from our wedding weekend. It was by far one of the best weddings I have ever been to. What incredible families they both have and incredible group of friends. Once again, it was such an honor to be a part of it all!
