I have had a wonderful Christmas break this month. I didn’t take any bookings this Decembers so I could get ready for the holidays and spend extra time with my girls and hubby. I have been having so much fun baking cookies, shopping, decorating, and listening to Christmas music. Browsing around itunes I stumbled upon what has become my favorite Christmas song of the season. I listen to it every single day and it makes me happy and warm inside. I went to youtube to see if they had a music video and found a random girl singing it with her guitar. I thought it would be corny but I actually like this version better!
Most people view God as a big judge in heaven who is ready to strike us a dead with lightning if we take our misbehavior too far. What we forget is that He came to this world as a little infant… soft, quiet, and gentle. He is compassionate, tender, merciful, and so in love with us. I think that’s why I love this song so much.
