I saw this on a blog I follow. This guy is a worship leader who is making an album right now. They were out shooting a video for it and this homeless man just walked up, got on his knees and started crying and singing with him…. watch to see the rest.
If you listen carefully at the end you hear Carlos saying this to homeless man, Danny:
“Keep trying to make it man.”
He looked at him square in the eye…cocked his head sideways with a confused look on his face…and said,
“Trying to make it? No man. I ain’t trying to make it…I’m making it. Jah puts His soldiers everywhere. Jah says, Yea though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death… So He places some of us, in that valley.”
Wow…. powerful!!! I have watched this 4x. I can’t get over the joy on Danny’s face and his passion for God in the midst of major trials in his life. I get upset when I have a bad day and can’t seem to keep a good attitude. What an amazing example and reminder of counting our trials as pure joy! The next time something goes wrong in my life I am going to think of Danny….
