Happily Ever After

I drug my hubby out for a photo shoot this weekend since I didn’t have a lot of guys in my portfolio. Senior season is coming up and I had to prove to myself I could capture boys just as well as the ladies. I got to stylize and pose him however I wanted and boy was he a good sport! When looking over the photos I was brought back in time to when we first met and when I first fell in love with him. I can remember the smell of his cologne so distinctly. In fact every time I smell it in it’s old glass bottle it takes me right back to the summer we fell in love. I was 18 years old and had never had a boyfriend, I had never even held a boys hand. I was waiting for “the one” however didn’t expect him to come so soon. Our love story is far too long and intricate to share on a blog post- I often think it would make a wonderful novel. It starts kind of like the movie “A Walk to Remember” (and if you haven’t watched it or read the book by Nicholas Sparks please do immediately, you are missing out). However I do not get sick or die of cancer…it’s the ending I wish the movie had. He is my one and only love and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without him. Here’s to first loves and happily ever afters.

I love following your blog since I found it a week or two ago, and had to let you know how great these pictures are! Get’s me antsy to try some posing on some guys. :)
And, as a goofy side note, I’m glad there is another couple with kiddos that looks as young as my husband and I (which is a good thing! :) ) because we’re always being told how young we look. ;)
