So I wanted to blog something uplifting today, something that would inspire someone. As I dug deep inside myself to see what I could muster up I was coming up with nothing beautiful or profound. I quickly came to the end of me and decided to do my devotions instead. The first few verses I read in Psalms 15 stated:
(NLT)1 Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord?
Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
2 Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right,
speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Truth from a sincere heart huh? The truth in our hearts isn’t always pretty- it isn’t always what we want the world to see. How many times have people asked me how I am doing and I have said “wonderful!” when in fact, it is not so. I am challenged today to find and reflect sincerity in everything I do and say.
On a lighter note: I just got some new proofing software the other night and had to give it a test drive before I start using it on clients. I made a proofing slideshow of my personal pics of my kids from the last two weeks. Are you sick of them yet?? Be sincere!
