I knew I wanted to start my first senior model campaign out with a bang. Something a little different than the ordinary. We decided to take the 2012 Photography by Meg Senior Models out of city limits! We got our country on and received permission to use a beautiful farm and wheat field as our backdrop.

We spent the first half of our day with makeup artists  and wardrobe stylists planning out each girl’s look. Then, with the girls and my team in tow, we headed out on an adventure! I can’t believe what an amazing time we had on this shoot. Lots of giggles, dance parties in the field, and hilarious out-takes. We wrapped up the day over a great meal (we were starving!) and more giggles, laughs, and memories. Thank you everyone who was  a part of this shoot. What an amazing team of people we had helping with this project. I couldn’t have done it without you!

A heart for them to know who they are and to discover their beauty both inside and out. I am so excited to announce the second year of  the Photography by Meg Senior Model Program! The chosen models will be invited to an exclusive free shoot complete with hair, makeup, and lots of  fun! Models will also receive a disk of facebook images for them to show off the images from their shoot as well as have the opportunity to earn  print credit towards any product!

I shot this senior session last fall and am excited to share beautiful Brittney with you. This girl is beautiful from the inside out. I know I say that a lot about my clients, but it’s simply the truth. One of my favorite things about my job is seeing the beauty in each person I photograph and bringing that out and showing them just how captivating they are.

I have been an awful blogger lately. The busy season hit and I have spent all my time working on sessions and with clients that the blog has taken the backseat. The good news is, the busy season is slowing down and I can’t wait to share all the sessions from this past summer/fall. Lots of post to come over the next few weeks!

In addition to that, I have been working on all sorts of new things for the new year! I have been working up some gorgeous new product, packages, mentoring offerings, and some more secrets I have up my sleeve…   Be on the lookout for announcements and lots of new stuff coming to Photography by Meg in the coming weeks!

In other news, this is Nikki, isn’t she a doll?? We had such a fun time picking pears in the orchard and trying out some beautiful pieces. She reminded me so much of the beautiful Carrie Underwood. She got her braces off just days before the session, so we got lots of great shots of her new pearly whites!
