2012 Senior Models

If you’ve followed my blog or have known me for any length of time you know I have a heart for teen girls. A heart for them to know who they are and to discover their beauty both inside and out. I am so excited to announce the second year of the Photography by Meg Senior Model Program! The chosen models will be invited to an exclusive free shoot complete with hair, makeup, and lots of fun! Models will also receive a disk of facebook images for them to show off the images from their shoot as well as have the opportunity to earn print credit towards any product!

Home Sweet Home

As promised… images from our new home. You might have to look past some items that are still undone and my blank walls (we just moved in weeks ago). I am over the moon excited and feel beyond blessed that we had the opportunity to design and pick out every detail in our new home. We really put our heart and soul into this project.

My prayer is that this house will be a home where people find peace, tranquility, and rest. I want to make years of precious memories with our family and friends in this beautiful place we call home sweet home.

I have always wanted a pot filler!

This frame is from the collection I will be offering to 2011 clients! 6 inch solid wood hand distressed frame. I have tons more to put up all over the house!

BONUS: This advent calendar my sister-in-law made for me out of burplap. I showed her the pottery barn I loved so much and she did a bigger and better job. She has so much talent!!

Now Booking for Fall 2010

I have gotten some emails asking about when I will be booking for Fall 2010. My summer sessions are all filled up and am now opening up the books for the Fall. I will be taking limited sessions each month, dates September 1-November 30th. I will not be taking any bookings in December.

Happy Mother’s Day

Today marks the 3rd year I have been able to claim “mommy” as title on Mother’s Day. A title I don’t take lightly. Who am I that God has entrusted me two little miracles to raise, to guide, to shape and mold? To be honest, some days I am terrified I am screwing up, “Did I let them watch too much TV? Was I too harsh disciplining her for throwing a Costco size bag of pretzels all over the floor? Did she get enough vegetables today? Did I handle that question right? Are they going to remember this when they are 18? Am I doing a good job?” Its in those moments that I have to be reminded that all the little things don’t matter…we were meant to be. My babies were handpicked for me and I for them. God knew I was just what they needed and they are just what I needed- flaws and all. I can find peace and rest from worry in this truth. What an honor it is to be chosen to guide these beautiful souls. I am a blessed mama. Happy Mother’s Day to all you amazing mommies today. Let go of all guilt and fear of failure and enjoy your babies, knowing they were handpicked for you and you for them.
